Alcina Lima, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, TSAC-F

Alcina Lima graduated from University of the Pacific with a degree in Sports Sciences and a minor in Biology before continuing at University of the Pacific to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2007. Since then, Alcina has continued to work to stay current with the latest research and treatment techniques by attending several conferences and courses each year. In 2009 she also completed the Folsom Long Term Manual Therapy course and earned her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Certification in 2015.

Throughout her career, Alcina has worked with a variety of patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics but has a special interest in military and first responders after working as a contractor with the Air Force. Her experience with the military has given her a unique understanding of the different demands and environment (culture) of tactical professions and how to get them back to full operational status as quickly as possible. Whether working with a client in the tactical realm or anyone else with an orthopedic injury, Alcina is committed to giving all her clients the tools to reach their functional goals through individualized treatment plans.

When not in the clinic, you can find Alcina outdoors running, rock climbing, hiking and camping.
